The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Centre (IEDC) at Met's School of Engineering is a flagship initiative of Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM) to promote innovation and entrepreneurship among students and faculty.

To create an entrepreneurial culture in our institution and to foster growth of innovation and entrepreneurship amongst the students, faculty, and staff. We aim to provide a platform for the students to pursue entrepreneurial activities and to translate their innovative ideas into commercially viable products or services.

Our Association with Kerala Startup Mission
Our IEDC operates under the guidance and support of the Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM), the central agency of the Government of Kerala for entrepreneurship development and incubation activities in Kerala. KSUM's initiatives are aimed at transforming Kerala into a vibrant startup hub. We actively participate in KSUM programs, leverage their network, and align our activities with their strategic goals for fostering innovation in the state.
